The iconic “Yes We Can” became “Yes He Does” in a Levi’s banner ad celebrating the 44th president’s inauguration. The image in question was none other than the man, myth and legend himself giving a stump speech in his own well-worn pair.

An agency acquisition that led to joining the ranks of Microsoft meant it wasn’t long before I joined an internal team of dedicated Microsoft-ees. One showpiece of that era: a campaign landing experience, complete with videos and scripts, for Microsoft Office 2010.

Park City Mountain Resort

A creative director - copywriter pairing borne out of the referral of a friend of a friend of a friend, my time spent on the Park City advertising slopes never really felt like, well, work. My only regret: Not making it to SKI Magazine’s #1 Family Vacation Destination.

This campaign not only made me into an accidental ambassador, it solidified my love of an original online experience. Site visitors were invited to toggle between three real women—a novel idea back then—to see how they might style their Levi’s via interviews and stylist snapshots.

An organization I champion off-the-clock, polishing copy for Everytown’s College Gun Safety Index to help evaluate colleges and universities based on eight gun safety elements was a win—although ultimately tabled, for the time being.
